These slides have the same basic information structure and functionality – the difference is that one uses small text and one uses large text and therefore has different character capacity.
These list can hold 1, 2 or 3 bullet points – which you as a user choose. This affects the length of the slide in the video as well as what will be viewable.
You would probably use the lists for just that when you have different information chunks that are on the exact same level from a structure point of view and/or have an absolute order to them. It would not make sense to use a list to hold other broader narrative information.
The List – Small text holds a lot of information. This example uses all three bullet points.
The List – Large text is better for shorter messages.
Behavior and usage
You start by choosing how many items (bullet and text) that you want the slide to display: 1, 2 or 3. (This will not make any changes in the side pane of the editor, all item fields will still be visible. But if you accidentally input anything into these other fields they will still not display if they’re over the number of items you have chosen.)
The number fields hold the character that you want to put into the bullet, a number or a letter. This will be displayed in the same text size as the text on the slide, small or large depending on which slide type you’re using.
The text fields hold the actual text for the bullets. The amount of text that is allowed depends on whether you are using ”List – Large text” or ”List – Small text”
We darken the background over the whole lifespan of the slide, to make sure that all text is legible.
