The "Simple Slide" gives you a lot of options when it comes to text presentation and animations.
This slide leverages the different typography choices, letting you control the text size, position of the text, and also gives you different presentation options.
Main Example
Basic usage
The Simple slide has two texts, Main Text, and Caption – Main Text can have Medium (180 characters), Large (135 characters), Xlarge (70 characters), and Huge (50 characters) size. The default size is the Large size. Caption can have Small (360 characters), Medium (180 characters) and Large (100 characters) size. The default size for caption is the Small size. The text from one default text field will be carried over to another default text field when changing slide type.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Style Settings
These styling options are available:
Text Alignment: Align the text fields (together) to the left, center, or right. The text justification will follow the alignment.
Text Position:
Content X-position - left, center, right.
Content Y-position - top, center, bottom.
Main Text Plate: When adding a plate, the text position will shift to allow for padding on the plate, and the left/right edge of the plate will line up with the margins on the slide. The plate will always have a fade animation, regardless of the text animation you have set for the field. The plate size will always follow the text content unless you toggle on "unified width".
Caption Plate: When adding a plate, the text position will shift to allow for padding on the plate, and the left/right edge of the plate will line up with the margins on the slide. The plate will always have a fade animation, regardless of the text animation you have set for the field. The plate size will always follow the text content unless you toggle on "unified width".
Spacing: When checked, this control adds a proportional spacing between the Main Text and Caption.
Unified Width: When using plates, you can check this option to have both plates be of the same width, this can come in handy, for example, if you have several Simple slides in a sequence.
Animation Settings
You can control the animation for each text field
Main Text/Caption Animation control (in the main view): This is where you choose if the text field animates in and/or out. Using these controls allows you to chain slides with the same text content.
Main Text Animation Type: Choose between a type-on animation (Type) and a fade animation (Fade) for the in- and out animation.
Caption Animation Type: Choose between a type-on animation (Type) and a fade animation (Fade) for the in- and out animation.
In/Out-animation Timing: Control the timing behavior for the in/out-animation.
- Sequential means that the Caption animates in/out after/before the Main Text in/out-animation is finished.
- Staggered means that the Caption starts its in/out-animation a short while after/before the Main Text in/out-animation has started.
- Simultaneous means that both in/out-animations start at the exact same time.
Color Settings
The color settings let you adjust the color of the Main Text, Caption Text, Main Text Plate, Caption Text Plate, and Fine Print. You can also adjust the Opacity of Main Text Plate, Caption Text Plate, and Fine Print.
