The "Callout – Line Split" slide type is made for one-word or short phrases that you want to make pop in the general flow. This slide type animates the text horizontally from an imagined centerline and collapses it back through that line on the out-animation. Very efficient for bursts of a few words or phrases in sequence.
All the callout slides have a similar function, so this first part applies to them.
The callout concept presents an opportunity to shift the tempo in a video, emphasizing a word or short phrase.
All the callout slides are built to look great as standalone slides, just popping on a word or two. They are built so you can chain them together by repeating words on multiple slides and controlling the animation patterns to build cool combinations.
Stacking multiple callout slides of different types after one another looks great. So if you take some care in your scaling and position settings, most of these will play nicely together.
These slides work well with heavy styling and animation. But remember that these work best when used as a little spice in a script. Or as a cool intro option. Or in a short, attention-grabbing thumb-stopper for a social media flow.
Main Example
Basic usage
The Callout - Line Split slide type holds one text field: Main message. Huge is set to default. (Huge 15 characters, Xlarge 30 characters, and Large 45 characters). This is mainly a one-word slide.
You can also affect the "Text Scale" up to 200%. This means that the text will scale to a max of 200% of its original size, and as much as will fit.
Apart from the animation controls, the only option you have to control here is the center line's angle. You can set it to slant -45 or 45 degrees or to be perfectly vertical.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
