The "Intro – Line Draw" slide type is – despite its name – perhaps best as a regular text slide. But it's flexible enough to cover a lot of ground.
It has two text fields and animates them from a staggered line. The texts have plates to run on plates or with the opacity at zero for a few different options.
Main example
Basic usage
The Intro – Line Draw slide type has two text fields, Main Text and Caption. The Main Text has Large (85 characters), X-large (70characters), and Huge (40 characters) text size. Large is the default size. Caption has Small (100 characters), and Medium (70characters) text size. The text from one default text field will be carried over to another default text field when changing slide type.
Slide Settings
You can control the in- and out-animation for all objects collectively – this is useful if you want to keep your object over multiple slides and change the background.
You can also control the line's alignment and the text's relative positions.
Slide Layout: Main Text on left or Main Text on right. Setting this also means that the Caption will be placed on the other side of the animated line.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Color
The color settings let you adjust the color of the Main Text, Caption Text, Line, Main Text Plate, Caption Plate and Fine Print. You can also adjust the Main Text Plate, Caption Plate and Fine Print opacity. Plate Opacity is set to 0 by default on both Text fields.
