The "Intro – Line Draw" slide type is – despite its name – perhaps best as a regular text slide. But it's flexible enough to cover a lot of ground.
It has two text fields and animates them from a staggered line. The texts have plates to run them on plates or with the opacity at zero for a few different options.

Usage and behavior
This slide-type has two text-fields with more than one available text size, making it very flexible. The Main Message can be Large (default), XLarge, or Huge, and the Description can be Small (default) or Medium,
With this slide-type with many different text size options, there is still one text size per field that is the default one. The slides function this way because we want you to change slide type and carry over the text from one default text layer to another. So if you change from a regular Simple Slide (for example) to this extended one – the Main Message text will be brought over. Note that this only holds for the default text field; texts used in other sizes can then be overwritten when changing from a slide-type that has them to one that does not.
This also means that if there is text in the default text field – it will override other activated text fields. So you can have activated the Huge text field and written text in that, but as soon as you input text in the default field, it will revert to Large. You need to be aware of this, and you always see what is active in the preview on the storyboard.
The text option for the Main Message is as follows, with the maximum length in characters.
- Large: 85 characters
- Huge: 40 characters
- Xlarge: 70 characters
For Description, these are the lengths:
- Small: 100 characters
- Medium: 70 characters.
Slide Settings
You can control the line's alignment and the text's relative positions with the control for "Main Message to the left" or right. Setting this also means that the Description will be placed on the other side of the animated line.
Under the "Color" settings, you can control the plates' color and opacity and the color of the line and the texts.
