The Selector Plate slide type is excellent for making step-by-step parts of a video. It has a "dot progress bar" that you can adjust up to 15 steps and to show the user where in the sequence they are.
The slide also has a great deal of flexibility with dual text fields that both can have the same text sizes and individual animation controls for the slide in general and the two texts.
Main example
Basic usage
The Selector Plate slide has two text fields, Main Text, and Caption – Main Text can have Small (135 characters), Medium (100 characters), and Large (85 characters). The default size is the Large size. Caption can have Small (135 characters), Medium (100 characters), and Large (55 characters) sizes. The default size for Caption is Small size. The text from one default text field will be carried over to another default text field when changing slide type.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Slide Settings
These styling options are available:
Number of Dots: Set the total amount of dots in the series. You can have a maximum of 15 indicators.
Dots: Tell you where you are in the sequence of slides.
Slide Animation: Controls the in- and out animation of the plate.
Main Text Animation: Controls the in- and out animation of the Main Text.
Caption Animation: Controls the in- and out animation of the Caption.
Text Alignment: Align the text fields (together) to the left, center, or right. The text justification will follow the alignment.
Plate Height: Max Height or Dynamic. Controls if the plate should take its max height or adjust to the text fields' actual content. You may want to have it at max height when you are going for a very structured layout and don't want the plate to change between slides.
Color Settings
You have the possibility to set the colors of the Main Text, Caption, Plate, Selector, Dots, and Fine Print. You also change the opacity of the Plate, Selector, Dots, and Fine Print.
