Cloud based rendering and loss of internet
Since the rendering itself is handled in the cloud we can always guarantee a certain amount of time for the videos to be rendered, so it has really nothing to do with internet connection. However what has to do with internet connection is the view you see in the storyboard, meaning what might have happened here is that your computer lost internet connection for just a brief second, which leads to the computer not knowing which "page" it's on. So while the rendering just kept going and most likely finished your computer shows you an old page where it still looks like the video is rendering.
The solution for this is a simple update of the page every now and then just to be sure the computer and internet are speaking the same language. Either you can close the page and then re-open or just make a "hard reload" like this:
cmd + R on MAC
ctrl + R on PC
If the problem continues
If the video still generates after way too many minutes please send the storyboard-ID (URL to the storyboard) to us so that they can have a look at what might cause this delay in rendering time.
Always double check your Chrome
Always double check so that you have the latest version of Chrome updated on your computer and if you have a PC please also do the following settings just to be sure the problem is not Chrome based.
Double-check that you have allowed pop-ups in Chrome
The first time you log in to the video studio, you will be asked to allow pop-ups in order to show when your video is ready. You might have accidentally denied it earlier or simply don't want it, however it's a very good function as it will always inform you when your video is ready, no matter what.
