The Event Slide is perfect for displaying date, time, and location information for events. It has an easy function for letting you display a specific event logo without replacing your main theme logo.
Behavior and usage
This slide has five different text fields, one Large text version for payoffs or CTAs, and four information boxes for a date, time, location, and URL – in which case you can add special icons to them – or for more free use. The slide also has an inline asset area to use for a specific event logo.
The "Main Message" text is set in the Large typography and holds 40 characters for a short CTA or tagline.
The Line texts are set in the Small typography and hold 40 characters each. For each line, you can also add an icon before the text to make it even clearer what information you are giving. The icon options are Date, Time, Location, URL, and None.
The Logo field lets you upload an asset to the slide, allowing you to have an event logo without replacing the theme logo.
Control the position of the texts with the Text X-Position and Text Y-Position controls. And set if the inline asset (Logo) should be above or under the message with the Asset/Message Position Switch.
- Check "Plates Behind Lines" if you want to have color plates behind the Line Texts.
- Check "Place Spacing" (checked by default) if you want to have vertical spacing between the Line Texts.
- Check "Align Icons Within Block" if you want to create an even left margin regardless of Text X-Position; this creates an "even column."
- Control the logo scale with the Asset Master Scale control.
Colors and opacities can be controlled under "Color" in the side panel.
