The Side Icon slide has a set of standard icons you can use, or why not upload your own? Only the imagination will limit the use of this slide!
Main example
Basic usage
The Side Icon slide has two text fields, Main Text and Caption. – Choose between Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and Huge. The default size for both text fields is the Large size. When changing slide type, the text from one default text field will be carried over to another.
Depending on the Text size, you can fit different amounts of text into the slide.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
General Settings
Slide Position in Sequence:
You can set the slide to Standalone, Start, Middle, and End behavior, making it easy to use for sequences.
Standalone: The Icon, Main text, and Caption Text animate in and out.
Start: The Icon animates in but not out. Main Text and Caption Text animate in and out.
Middle: No animation of the Icon. Main Text and Caption Text animate in and out.
End: The Icon animates out but not in. Main Text and Caption Text animate in and out.
Icon Selector: Choose from Theme Logo, Arrow Down Left, Arrow Down Right, Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Arrow up Left, Arrow up Right, Asterisk, Calendar, Chart Down, Chart Up, Check, Clock, Currency - Dollar, Currency - Euro, Currency - GBP, Currency - Money, Exclamation Mark, Globe, Heart, Link, Map Pin, Pause, Percent, Play, Question Mark, Quote, RSS Feed, Star, Thumbs Down, Thumbs Up, X.
Or you can upload your Icon using the Browse function.
Duration: 3-15 seconds.
Slide Settings
Icon Scale: Adjust the slider from 1-50.
Background Plate: Choose from Circle, Straight, Light Rounding, Medium Rounding, Heavy Rounding, and No Plate.
Text Alignment: Align the text field to the Left, Center, or Right.
Icon Position Relative to Text: Left, or Right.
Advanced Settings
When you engage the "Advanced Animation Settings" toggle, you override all the default settings for animations.
You can control the animation settings independently, giving you more options for creative use.
Animation Control - Icon: Choose if the Icon animates in and/or out. Using these controls allows you to chain slides with the same Icon.
Animation Control - Main Text: Choose if the text field animates in and/or out. Using these controls allows you to chain slides with the same text content.
Animation Control - Caption: Choose if the text field animates in and/or out. Using these controls allows you to chain slides with the same text content.
Reverse Text Out Animation: Check the box if you want the reversed animation when the text is animated out.
Text Position Vertical: Top, Center, and Bottom. Moves the Text, in relation to the Icon, if the Icon is higher than the Text.
Icon Position Vertical: Top, Center, and Bottom. Moves the Icon, in relation to the Text, if the text is higher than the Icon.
Content X-position: Left, Center, Right, Fixed.
Fixed X-position: You can also input a fixed X-position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Content X-position" and then adding a value in "Fixed X-position" (0 = at the left side of the canvas).
Content Y-position: Top, Center, Bottom, Fixed.
Fixed Y-position: You can also input a fixed Y-position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Content Y-position" and then adding a value in "Fixed Y-position" (0 = at the top).
Color Settings
The color settings let you adjust the Main Text, Caption Text, Icon, Icon Plate, and Fine Print color. You can also adjust the opacity of the Fine Print.
