The "Fliptext" slide type gives you a large control over text size, animation behavior, color and plate/border settings, letting you build more specific versions of the slide. The slide also supports duration down to 1.0 seconds.
Main example
Basic usage
The Fliptext Slide has one text field, Main Text – Choose Font Size - Tiny, Small Alternate, Small, Medium Alternate, Medium, Large Alternate, Large, X-Large Alternate, X-Large, Huge Number, and Huge. The default font size is Large.
The font size decides what font that will be picked up from the theme. When changing slide type, the text from one default text field will be carried over to another.
Depending on the Textbox Width and Text size, you can fit different amounts of text into the slide.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
General Settings
Show Plate: Toggle off if you don't want a Plate behind the text.
Duration: 1 - 15 seconds.
Slide Settings
Use full width for textbox: Check this box to adjust the width of the text box to use all available width.
In a 16x9 format this will change the width that the text can flow before a line break. If unchecked the textbox will keep its width no matter the format.
Text Alignment: Align the text fields (together) to the left, center, right, or Justified. If you want to have different alignment on the two text fields, you choose Use Separate Settings.
Horizontal Content Position (X): Left, Center, Right, and Fixed.
Fixed Horizontal Position (X): You can also input a fixed Horizontal Position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Horizontal Content Position" and then adding a value in "Fixed Horizontal Position" (0 = at the left side of the canvas).
Animation Settings
Direction In: This controls the behavior of the text when it animates in. Choose from Forward, Backward, Left and Right. The default settings is Forward.
Direction Out: This controls the behavior of the text when it animates out. Choose from Forward, Backward, Left and Right. The default settings is Forward.
Animation Bounce: Choose if you want the animation to do an "overshoot" and seemingly bounce at its end (in-animation) or start (out-animation), giving it a bit of a more natural feel. Animation Bounce is on by default.
Color
The color settings let you adjust the color of the plate, border, and Outline. You can also adjust the plate and Outline opacity. If you leave the border check box blank, the border will not be visible.
You find the color settings for Fine Print under Fine print in the side menu.
