The Small Quote slide is well suited for more extended quotes with a clear attribution – but can also be used as quite an extensive text slide.
Since there are two separate text fields, you can use them with different colors if you want to use them as counterpoints rather than message and attribution.
Main Example
Basic usage
The Small Quote slide has two texts, Main Text, and Name & Title. Main Text has Small (360 characters), Name & Title has Small (85 characters) text size. Main text is the default text field. When changing slide type, the text from one default text field will be carried over to another.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Slide Settings
Animation control: This is where you choose if the text fields animate in and/or out. Using these controls allows you to chain slides with the same text content.
Styling Settings
Animation Type: Gives you the option of choosing if the elements should do a fade or a "clamp" in and out.
Show Quote: Let you turn the quote sign on and off, if you want to use the slide as a more regular text slide then you should turn it off.
Show lines: This lets you turn the lines above and below the text area on or off if you want that look.
Show plate: Let you turn the color plate behind the text area on or off. This plate can be used as a strong graphic element or just as a readability enhancement.
Color Settings
The color settings let you adjust the color of the Main Text, Name & Title, Quote, Plate, and Fine Print. You can also adjust the Opacity of the Plate, and Fine Print.
