The "Fliptext" slide type gives you a large control over text size, animation behavior, color and plate/border settings, letting you build more specific versions of the slide. The slide also supports duration down to 1.0 seconds.
Main example
Basic usage
The "Fliptext" slide type holds one text field, Main Text, with 5 different size options:
- Huge: 50 characters
- Xlarge: 70 characters
- Large: 100 characters
- Medium: 180 characters
- Small: 360 characters
The default one is the Large size. When changing slide type the text from one default text layer will be carried over to another default layer.
Slide Settings
Under Slide Settings, you find the following choices:
Text Alignment: Align the text field to the left, center, or right. The text justification will follow the alignment.
Animation Control: Set the in-and out-animation on or off with the buttons. The ability to control this allows you to chain multiple slides with the same text content together.
Direction In: This controls the behavior of the text when it animates in. Choose from Forward, Backward, Left and Right.
Direction Out: This controls the behavior of the text when it animates out. Choose from Forward, Backward, Left and Right.
Animation Bounce: Choose if you want the animation to do an "overshoot" and seemingly bounce at its end (in-animation) or start (out-animation), giving it a bit of a more natural feel.
The default settings are; in- and out animation on, direction in - forward, direction out - forward.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Color
The color settings let you adjust the color of the plate, border, and Fine Print. You can also adjust the plate, border and Fine Print opacity. By setting the plate opacity to 0, you are able to use the slide with the border but without any plate behind the text. If you leave the border check box blank, the border will not be visible in the generated video.
