The "Centerline" slide type is an excellent slide for either a regular narrative text display or an intro. Since you have many size options for the text, you can utilize it in several ways.
It has a distinct presentation with its line and with the different animation options you can use it both as a standalone or in a sequence for great effect.

Basic usage
The "Centerline" slide type has one text field, Main Text. The Main Text has Small (360 characters) Medium (180 characters), Large (100 characters), Xlarge (70 characters), and Huge (50 characters) text sizes. Large is the default size. The text from one default text field will be carried over to another default text field when changing slide type.
Slide Settings
Text Alignment: Align the text fields (together) to the left, center, or right. The text justification will follow the alignment.
Animations: You can control animation in and out for both the line and the text. This allows you to chain slides together – especially by letting the line stay put and the text change, to let the line create a visually stable focus point.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Advanced Properties
Here you find options for width and placement.
- Position: toggle on to be able to decide the Y-position for the line and text. The number you input is the offset in pixels from the top edge of the canvas.
- Line Width: toggle on to control the width of the line. "Dynamic" - the line will have the same width as the text you are inputting; this is the default behavior. "Maximum" - make it as wide as it will go; it will still have margins to the left and right. "Fixed" input the pixel value in the "Fixed width" field to make it precisely that wide.
Color:
You can change the color of the text and the line under "Color" in the right pane. You can also adjust the opacity of the Fine Print.
