Set your brand colors in the video theme.
- Open your video theme
- Adjust the colors by clicking on the color boxes and hand picking your colors or by writing in the color code in the text field beside the color box.
Primary color: Default color on objects such as quote signs, solid boxes, lines, and other graphical objects. This is the most "brand-specific" color and the one that features the most as a default setting on objects and tints. Most often this would be your main brand color, dark or light.
Text on primary: Default color to be used on text when placed on objects with primary color. This color should contrast with the Primary and Darken one since its default use is as text on objects and tints that have default color Primary and Darken. So if you have a dark Primary color this should preferably be light, and vice versa.
White: Default color for all text except when placed on solids with primary color. Should be very light to ensure visibility. This is the main text color for most slides, so choose this wisely, young theme-padawan.
Black: Default color for the slide background). Will only be visible when no background asset is displayed. A dark color ensures visibility. You can use the canvas color (and then the default setting for Black) as a creative effect. By using the canvas as is with just text on it or with a transparent png you can have your brand color available as easily as that.
Darken: Default color for darkening tints on slides. A dark color ensures visibility. This color is used as a default on slides that have a darkening tint (Quote and Quicktext for example). Normally this color would be black, but you can, of course, change it to a dark version of your brand colors to make your theme even more bespoke.
Gradient fade: Default color for the base of gradient fade behind the light text on certain slides. This color is used as the base color in a gradient (from this to transparent) that is used on Simple Slide in order to ensure legibility behind text that defaults to theme color White. You can change this to whatever you want, but a dark color makes most sense.
Theme Color 1-4: Quick access to up to four other colors. Never displayed in any elements if you don't actively choose them!
