You can add mp3 files to your libraries – or even better: Create specific libraries that hold mp3 files.
It works the same way as for any other assets – you create a library and add your mp3 files to it.
- Click on the library name to open up the asset browser from where you can add images, videos, and audio files.
- Upload mp3 files by either dragging and dropping them or by clicking the "click to browse" link. You can batch upload multiple files, making it very easy to add all your audio files quickly.
- Your sound library is now ready to use.
* You can change the name on mp3 files by clicking the "Details" option on the uploaded file and changing the "Filename" field to the name you want in your lists. That option autosaves, so you have to click outside the details view to go back to the library view.
* You can delete a song from the library with the "Delete" command.
It can make sense to have different libraries for different types of music if you have many of them. Note: You can mix music and image/video assets in the same library if you are making themed libraries. Of course, you will only see the mp3s in the Music selector and the other assets in the regular asset library.
