Transition is turned off per default. If you would like to make a transition, you:
- Click on the Main asset lane.
- Open Transition tab
- Set Transition
Main example:
You have the option to choose between the following transitions:
Zoom/Blur
Swipe (left/right/up/down)
For this example: swipe right
Rotate (clockwise/counterclockwise)
For this example: rotate clockwise
Scale (up/down)
For this example: scale up
Handy hint
The effect is applied as in- and out-transitions on every slide. For the best result, choose the same effect out and in. Set transition out on the first slide, and transition in on the upcoming slide.
Advanced Usage
Combine the main asset behaviour with a transition to get extra cool effects.
In this example, we would like to scale up the asset every 1,5 seconds to get a really close look and then scale down it to get it back to its original aspect.
Step 1:
Select the desired amount of slides and choose your main asset. In this example, we have used a video and since we would like it to scale every 1,5 seconds, we need to split it and set the video start point manually.
Step 2:
In our example, we would like to start the video with its original size, before we start scaling the picture. The only thing we need to do is to open the transition tab and choose Scale Up for transition out.
Step 3:
On slide number 2, we need to adjust the scaling settings to come close to the asset. Open properties and adjust the asset scaling from 100 to 115. The transition out is also set to scale up.
Step 4:
To get an even closer look at the asset, we will do the exact same thing as in the previous step but change Asset Scale from 115 to 130 to have it even more scaled.
Proceed with the desired amount of slides. In our example, we've added 5 slides to get the scaled up effect and then added 4 slides doing the exact same thing but scaling the asset down to its original size again.
