The Labeltext slide type does what is said in the name, giving you space for a label and a message text. You can easily set the behavior to have the label static over multiple slides, which will come in handy when collecting information under the said label as a discrete part of the script.
Main Example
Basic usage
The Labeltext slide has two texts, Label, and Main Text. The Label has Small (40 characters) and Main Text has Large (135 characters) text size. Both text fields are default text fields. The default size for caption is the Small size. The text from one default text field will be carried over to another default text field when changing slide type.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
Slide Settings
Slide Position in Sequence
You can set the slide to Standalone, Start, Middle, and End behavior, making it really easy to use for sequences.
Standalone: The Label and Main text animates in and out.
Start: Label animates in but not out. Main text field animates in and out.
Middle: No animation for the Label. Main text field animates in and out.
End: Label animates out but not in. Main text field animates in and out.
Plate behind Label: On/Off, On by default.
Text Alignment: Align the text fields (together) to the left, center, or right. The text justification will follow the alignment.
Advanced Settings
When you engage the "Advanced Settings" toggle, you override all the settings except the Plate setting. You will need to check the animation settings if you want to mimic the Start/Middle/End behavior.
You can control the text's animation settings independently, giving you more options for creative use.
Label Animation: Controls if the Label text should animate in and out.
Main Text Animation: Controls if the Main text should animate in and out.
Text Position:
Text Alignment:
The Text Align controls the alignment of the text and its position within the content area; the content area position is controlled by the "Content X-position" and "Content Y-position" controls. This means you can move the texts wherever you want on the canvas and set the text-alignment independent from the position.
The content area works like this.
Content X-position - Left, Center, Right, Fixed.
Fixed X-position - You can also input a fixed X-position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed X" in "Content X-position" and then adding a value in "Fixed X-position" (0 = at the left side of the canvas).
Content Y-position - Top, Center, Bottom, Fixed.
Fixed Y-position - You can also input a fixed Y-position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed Y" in "Content Y-position" and then adding a value in "Fixed Y-position" (0 = at the top).
Color Settings
The color settings let you adjust the color of the Label, Main Text, Label Plate, and Fine Print. You can also adjust the Opacity of the Label Plate, and Fine Print.
