Curtain call for Script Templates

Before AI changed everything, Script Templates helped lift your video text with step-by-step storytelling instructions.
Now that Creators do the heavy lifting for you, Script Templates have been sent into retirement. At the same time, we've made some changes to the UI when you create a New Script.
You'll now be able to set the Asset Library, Stock Asset and Music controls on the same settings page as Title, Format and Themes. With one less step, you can jump into the Script Editor and start composing your video faster.
Preview downloads have been retired

With massive improvements to how you can preview your slides and video content, plus a faster rendering time, downloading preview videos is a thing of the past.
You'll notice that we removed the Preview option and changed the button in the Storyboard Editor to Create Video.
And when you now hit Download, you'll get a high-quality video you can share with the team for feedback or publish right away!

A handy sharable link for your video in the Create dashboard and a few buttons renamed to help stay on track.

Now you can find a sharable link in the video thumbnail on the Create dashboard to speed up feedback rounds or publish quicker.
Projects view
To improve navigation, the Asset Library button in the top right corner of each project has been renamed to Project Assets. It's where the assets for each individual project are stored after all!
Storyboard Editor
This one's only if you have access to the Storyboard Editor:
In the Script Editor, you'll now find the green button in the top right corner has been renamed from Create Video to Edit Storyboard. To create a video directly from your script, just open the Settings menu.
Optional instructions added to New Video workflow
It's easier to create more relevant videos for your target audience right at the beginning of your video creation flow using optional instructions.
You can now find the Optional Instructions feature in the new flow, which help you create a draft video much closer to the final version. Optional instructions are great for steering the AI to focus on a specific theme, challenge, solution or demographics.
Good to note that not all Creators have the Optional Instruction option.
Style your subtitles
Now you've got more control over the look and feel of your subtitles to create the talking head video you want.
Whether you want to make your subtitles pop or present your talking head video in a more conventional style, you're spoilt for choice on styling - from text, backplates and fonts to positioning and alignment.

Translate your storyboards
You spoke and we listened. Now you can translate your storyboard, too, and tailor your content for multiple markets at the same time.
To translate your storyboard directly from your Project view:
- Hover over the Storyboard thumbnail
- Click the icon in the top right corner
- Select Translate Storyboard
You can then choose the language and a new storyboard will be created with a language code in the same project folder

Save time and create Full HD videos from your Project view without ever having to create a storyboard.
To create a video from a script in your project view:
- Hover over the script thumbnail
- Click the icon in the top right corner
- Select Create Video

Storykit AI will prioritise which assets are included in your video like this:
- Scraped assets (if you don't want to include any, just hit Exclude all)
- Assets from the selected asset library
- Stock assets (if they are toggled on and allowed)
