Introduction
The "Expert Summary Creator" in the Autocut Webinars/Talks series is designed to turn dense, expert-driven webinar or talk transcriptions into clear, accessible video scripts. These scripts lead the viewer through key points and conclusions, using one or two short, verbatim spoken quotes to validate or illustrate the narrative, all while maintaining the original tone and focus.
How It Works
Input Section
The Creator begins by accepting the following inputs:
Transcription: An srt-encoded transcript with chunk indices and spoken content.
User Input: Optional instructions for speaker, context, theme, corrections, or creative intention.
System Message and Selection Protocol
Autocut/Chunk Selection:
- One or two supporting quotes are selected from the transcript, each comprised of consecutive, verbatim SRT chunks.
- Each quote starts at a sentence boundary and ends at a valid sentence terminator. Chunk order must not be broken.
- Each quote segment is ideally 20–40 words, up to 75 if needed for completeness and clarity.
- Quote chunk indices are output as arrays (TH1, TH2) for precise reference and video editing.
- Quotes must not simply echo the written summary but support or illustrate its main ideas.
User Input Handling:
- Parses User Input for spelling corrections, focus/theme, context, speaker, and creative tone (applied in that order).
- Input shapes both the editorial summary and quote selection for relevance and intent.
Writing Section
In crafting the output, this Creator uses an editorialized summary format:
Headline: Writes a headline clearly introducing the topic or focus.
Challenge/Question Paragraph: Writes a two-sentence paragraph establishing the main challenge or question addressed in the talk.
Discussion Paragraph: Writes a two-sentence paragraph outlining what was discussed or concluded.
Quote Segment(s): Outputs an array with chunk indices for one (or optionally two) quotes that illustrate or validate the discussion.
Takeaway Paragraph: Writes a two-sentence paragraph summarizing the key relevance or takeaway.
Autocut CTA: Uses the [Autocut CTA Phrase] if present, otherwise provides a suitable closing in the requested language.
Best Use Scenarios
This Creator is ideal for:
- Webinar/Talk Summaries: Turning complex sessions into high-impact, digestible highlights.
- Thought Leadership/Expert Clips: Extracting and validating key expert insights for wider distribution.
- Educational Content: Bridging the gap between deep dives and actionable takeaways in learning playlists.
