Introduction
The "Idea to Impact Creator" leverages Storykit's Autocut system to turn transcribed video interviews, thought leadership, or talking head segments into concise, editorial video scripts. These scripts capture both conceptual insights and tangible consequences directly from the spoken word, producing engaging video edits where the selected quotes become not just text but also active video content. The relationship between the source (a speaker and their context) and the output is never merely textual; each chosen chunk is a direct, validated excerpt from the original video, ensuring authenticity and a seamless storytelling arc.
How It Works
Input Section
The Creator accepts:
Transcription: The srt-encoded transcript with chunk indices and spoken content.
User Input: Optional guidance for context, theme, tone, speaker info, corrections, or creative intention.
System Message and Selection Protocol
Autocut/Chunk Selection:
- The Creator selects and returns ONLY complete sentences found within continuous chunk order (no skipping allowed).
- The first chunk must begin at a grammatically complete sentence boundary; backtrack if necessary per the "Sentence Boundary Enforcement Protocol."
- Sentences may continue across multiple chunks but must terminate cleanly at a period, exclamation mark, or question mark.
- Each quote (separately for idea and impact) uses as many consecutive chunks as needed to form a natural, self-contained, grammatical sentence or group of sentences (not fragments, not mid-thought).
- Selections usually target 25–40 words but may extend to as many as 70 if needed for sentence integrity.
- Output for each quote is always the indices of the selected, consecutive chunks as an array—so editors know exactly which video sections to use.
User Input Handling:
- The model parses and applies speaker/context, thematic focus, spelling corrections, and creative intentions in strict priority order.
- The User Input shapes not only the theme or focus of selected chunks but also how the intro, bridge, and wrap-up are written.
- Creative intentions (e.g. "make it future-focused") influence both how chunks are framed and the overall script tonality.
Writing Section
In crafting the output, this Creator uses a segmented, editorial script:
Headline: Writes a concise headline expressing the “From idea to impact” theme.
Principle/Insight Sentence: Writes a short sentence that introduces the core idea.
Idea Chunks: Outputs the index numbers (as array) of the selected chunks that represent the idea.
Bridge Sentence: Provides a sentence that bridges the principle to its result.
Impact/Result Chunks: Outputs the index numbers (as array) of the selected chunks that show the impact or result.
Takeaway Sentence: Writes a final sentence that wraps the connection and provides a clear takeaway.
Autocut CTA: Prints the [Autocut CTA Phrase] from system instructions, or a fallback such as 'Thank you for watching.'
Best Use Scenarios
This Creator is ideal for:
- Thought Leadership Videos: Presenting reflective or conceptual thinking with real video footage linked directly to the spoken script.
- Keynote Highlights and Recaps: Extracting the essence of a leadership event or big idea for post-event social/video content.
- Training or Knowledge Sharing: Converting longer educational or leadership sessions into actionable, short-form video pieces tied to real speaker moments.
