All interfaces in Storykit are optimized for Google Chrome. We guarantee that Storykit works with Google Chrome in the latest official release. This means that you should choose Google Chrome as your browser while working in Storykit.
Please note that we do NOT test with Apple Safari, Firefox, and more. We only guarantee 100% functionality with Chrome.
In case of a support issue, we will look into how it looks and works in Google Chrome. We can not prioritize any issues that may arise with other browsers.
For Storykit to work without any hassle you might also need to take a look at these settings in your Chrome browser:
-
Cookies
Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)
-
Notifications
If using the setting "Ask before sending (recommended)" then the following URL must be added to the list of allowed notifications: https://videostudio.storykit.io:443 This is added automatically if the user answers allow notification question on their first render attempt.
-
JavaScript
Allowed (recommended)
-
Popups
If using recommended setting Block an exception must be added for https://storykit.io:443 since Video Studio is opened as a popup. This can be added automatically if the user clicks "Popup blocked" the first time Video Studio is opened and then chooses to allow popups from storykit.io
-
Sound
Allow sites to play sound must be enabled to preview available audio for videos.
-
Whitelist domain
If any other setting, an exception must be added for storykit.io (and subdomains videostudio.storykit.io, app.storykit.io/, https://ph.storykit.io, *.skcdn.io)
