Sometimes errors occur when uploading your file. In most cases, you can fix the file yourself. We suggest you use the free software Handbrake (version HandBrake-1.1.2.dmg) or any other software where you can convert a file into a new "fresh" version of the file.
Examples:
- If the Storyboard editor/Script editor will give an error message, in the asset browser, that says "Failed to upload" for a video file. More often than not this is because the file has some format error, even though the files look correct and display as they should on your computer's desktop.
- If the thumbnail and the video get skewed proportions, this is most likely because it's an anamorphic video file. This can happen even though the video file uploads correctly
Upload your new file to the asset browser. If you still have problems with your file, please contact support@storykit.io.
